15-yr-old girl returning from school molested in Berasia, accused arrested

 

 

A shocking case of molestation of a 15-year-old girl has come to light in Berasia. The incident occurred in the village of Suhaya, where the victim was allegedly molested by an accused while she was on her way home from school. According to the police, the victim was walking home from school when the accused started stalking her. He suddenly grabbed her hand and molested her, leaving the victim shaken and traumatized. The victim immediately ran home and informed her family members about the incident. Her family then filed a complaint with the Berasia police station, who promptly registered a case under sections 7,8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and sections 74 and 78 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).

 

The police have arrested the accused and are currently investigating the case further. The accused has been charged with molestation and other serious offenses, and if found guilty, he could face severe punishment, including imprisonment. The victim and her family are being provided with counseling and support to help them cope with the trauma. This incident highlights the need for greater awareness and vigilance to prevent such crimes against children. The police are urging parents and guardians to be more cautious and to report any suspicious behavior to the authorities immediately.
