A Daughter’s Dream

 
As a child growing up 
A question we all hear
“What do you want to be in life, my dear?” 
No answers, no clues, just a thought that stays
This question sticks with her in many ways.
Watching her mom being strong and dad being kind
Their qualities inspire her, fill up her mind.
She wants to be strong just like they are
These traits guide her, shall take her far.
She always knew the worth of a good character 
In her teenage years, she started to wonder,
How could she get the best of every trait
Was grit and kindness all in her fate?
This led her to aim for a role more than just a job
Where she could heal dreams and help others evolve
She wants to learn and give her best each day 
To bring change in lives and shine all the way. 
From individual to society and her country
She will do whatever the need be
As she spreads her wings and far she goes
She always wants her nation also to grow.
And that’s her journey 
She works hard, holding fate’s finger, 
For one day she wants to become, 
The country’s worthy daughter.
