IN THE on-going Central Provinces Club’s Adv MK Naidu Memorial Tournament, the duo of Vikrant Gulati and Shreyas Mehadia made it to Round 2 defeating the pair of Saurabh Singhania and Bhavya Mehta with a score of 127-66. In the first frame, Gulati-Mehadia scored 54 against which Singhania-Mehta scored 36. In the second innings Gulati-Mehadia scored 73, against which Singhania-Mehta could score 30 and the game ended with a final score of 127 against 66. In another match, Avanish Sapra-Sahil Kamwani defeated Sanjeev Arora-Prachet Agrawal with a score of 196-60.

 

Scoring first, Arora-Agrawal made 52 in the first frame and Sapra-Kamwani scored 96 in the second frame. In the third frame of the second innings, Arora-Agrawal were restricted at 8 points and their total score was restricted at 60 points against the first innings score of 96 of Sapra-Kamwani who won with an innings and got an additional 100 points. Matches of second round of the tournament begins Monday.
