During the meeting, Collector Singh emphasised the need for a systematic and effective plan for the development of Bhopal up to the year 2047 .

He instructed the formation of a joint team comprising the district administration, SPA, and other relevant agencies. He highlighted the importance of developing Bhopal as a ‘unique city’ on the national map by 2047. The Collector directed that the development plan should prioritise well-organised infrastructure, a pollution-free environment, an improved transport system, sustainable development, and environmental conservation. Further, Collector Singh proposed that a comprehensive report be prepared within the next 15 to 20 days after consulting the relevant agencies. Based on this, the city’s holistic development should be ensured, keeping in mind future needs.
