Sensation prevailed after a bloodied body of a cop was found near a temple in Jatwara village under jurisdiction of Kuthla police station. Police reached the spot on receiving information from villagers and sent body for post-mortem after panchnama. SHO, Kuthla police station Abhishek Chaubey informed that the deceased has been identified as Mukesh Lala Sharma who was deployed as constable at Baihar police station and was suspended for some reason.

 

After suspension he was staying at his native village of Jatwara. In the morning when villages got up they saw body of Mukesh lying beneath a peepal tree opposite Gauri Shankar temple. Police suspect that Mukesh was murdered with the heavy object that was hit on his head. His wife and children were staying at Balaghat and they have been informed about the incident. Police has started the investigation into this murder.
