New FIR against FIITJEE Director, senior officials over alleged cheating

In a recent development, the MP Nagar Police have filed an FIR against FIITJEE coaching institute’s Director D K Goyal and several senior officials on the charges of cheating, fraud, and other relevant offences under the BNS Act. The case was registered following a complaint from Ashish Vaishya, a parent of one of the students enrolled at the FIITJEE Bhopal centre.
 
According to Jai Hind Sharma, the in-charge of MP Nagar Police Station, the FIR names FIITJEE’s Director Goyal, as well as officials Manish Anand, Rajiv Babbar, and Sumit Srivastava. The police are currently in the process of examining various documents and records from the coaching centre to investigate the extent of the alleged financial irregularities and embezzlement of funds.
 
The controversy erupted when several parents came forward, alleging that despite having paid hefty fees for their children’s coaching, classes were abruptly discontinued. They reported that for the past ten days, the premises of theFIITJEE Bhopal centre had been locked, and the teachers and staff had resigned without notice. The parents expressed their frustration, emphasising that they had enrolled their children for long-term courses, from grades 9 to 12. They are now demanding a full refund of the fees paid and seeking justice for the inconvenience and financial loss incurred. The police are actively investigating the case, and authorities are taking steps to hold the accused accountable. Further details are awaited as the investigation is in progress.
