St Aloysius School Gaur successfully conducted its 8th Annual Athletic Meet on Saturday. The event was graced by Vivek Sheel, Divisional Railway Manager, West Central Railway as chief guest. The Guest of Honour, Rev.Fr. George Thomas Secretary Cum Procurator of DCJ, Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, School Manager, Rev. Fr. Thankachan Jose and Principal Rev. Fr. S. Arockiya Raja were also present.
 
The ceremony began with the singing of the school anthem, followed by unfurling of school flag. The Chief Guest, officially declared the athletic meet open, and the excitement soared as colorful balloons were released into the sky along with pigeons, symbolizing peace and joy. The athletes took their oath with great pride and dedication, pledging to compete with integrity. A spectacular inaugural dance titled "Love the Earth as You Love Yourself" captivated the audience and set the tone for the day's events. The meet featured an array of athletic events, including races, relays, and hurdles, showcasing the sporting spirit of the students. The Kindergarten section stole the show with their fancy races, including the Wild Beast Race, Royal Rush Race, Pyramid Race, and the Treasure Hunt—each one more exciting and unique than the last. A highlight of the day was the ‘Incredible Integrity of the Aloysians’ performance. The gymnasts mesmerized the crowd with their flawless routines, while the cyclists exhibited thrilling stunts. Later, a heartwarming Christmas dance conveyed a message of love and compassion, touching the hearts of everyone present. DRM, WCR, Vivek Sheel shared encouraging words, praising the students for their enthusiasm and efforts throughout the day. The program concluded with the lowering of the flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
