RAIPUR
MAHESH Gagda was unanimously elected President of
the Chhattisgarh Volleyball Association in the election held in Raipur on Sunday. CM has extended his congratulations to Mahesh Gagda on his election as State President of Chhattisgarh Volleyball Association.
Gagda, along with officials of the various sports association including Sanjay Singh, President of the Wrestling Federation of India; Vikram Sisodia, Secretary General of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association; Hem Prakash Nayak, Secretary of the
Chhattisgarh Volleyball Association; Satyendra Pandey, Vice President; Prashant Singh Raghuvanshi, Joint Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association, G Suresh met the Chief Minister after the election and presented him a memento.
The visit followed election for the new governing body of the Chhattisgarh Volleyball Association held in Raipur on Sunday under the guidance of President of Indian Wrestling Federation Sanjay Singh in supervision of Prashant Singh Raghuvanshi from Chhattisgarh Olympic Association and
Pravesh Joshi of Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
Former Minister Mahesh Gagda was unanimously elected as President of the association. Other key office bearers include Satyendra Pandey and Md Akram as Senior Vice Presidents, Ruby Garcha, Ajay Goel, Dinesh Nishad, Vijay Chandravanshi, Nirmal Singh and Rekha Padam as Vice Presidents and Hem Prakash Nayak as Secretary. Harmesh Chawda and Dinesh Singh
will serve as Associate Secretaries, while Sushil Garg takes on the role of Treasurer. Joint Secretaries include Nitin Pandey, Mamta Gupta, Deepak Pradhan and Subhash Kadar. The newly elected office bearers will serve for the tenure of four years from 2024-25 to 2028-29.
