The Christmas celebration at St Aloysius’ Institute of Technology (SAIT), organised under the banner of the Inter Religious Forum (IRF), was a grand and heartwarming occasion that brought together students and faculty in the true spirit of Christmas.
The event commenced with a graceful Prayer Dance, which set a reverent tone and filled the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.
A solemn Scripture Reading reminded everyone of the spiritual significance of the season. The function witnessed the presence of Rev. Fr. Jose Mathew (Administrator, Don Bosco YuvaSadan), Fr. Thankachan Jose (Director, SAIT), Fr. Leo D’Souza (Administrator, SAIT), Fr. Arockia Raja (Principal, St. Aloysius’ School Gaur), and Dr.SmitaShrivastava (Principal, SAIT Engineering).
The celebration continued with a beautiful performance of Christmas Carols by the students of St. Aloysius School Gaur, whose harmonious voices filled the hall with festive cheer. A captivating Nativity Act, performed with intricate choreography, depicted the humble birth of Jesus Christ, bringing the nativity story to life for all present.
Rev. Fr. Jose Mathew also shared a heartfelt Christmas message, encouraging the audience to embrace the values of love, peace, and goodwill, which are central to the spirit of the season.
The students of St. Aloysius' Institute of Technology then performed their own rendition of Christmas Carols, and the event reached its magical climax with the arrival of Santa Claus, delighting the audience.
The programme, organised under the guidance of Dr Renu Pandey (Principal, SAIT Education), concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Aradhna Dhanaraj.
