HIT-AND-RUN:Speeding bus knocks man dead near Central Jail

 

 

 

A man walking on Central Jail Road was killed when a speeding bus hit him. Dhantoli Police officials said, the identity of the deceased who is about 35 years old has not been established yet. The accident occurred at 7.45 am on Sunday when the man was walking towards Ajni Square. A speeding bus coming from behind knocked him. He sustained serious injuries in the accident. Passers-by rushed him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries at 7.50 am on Monday. A case under Sections 281, 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Sections 184 and 134 of Motor Vehicle Act, has been registered by Dhantoli Police.
