BMC demolishes illegal portion of under-construction building

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) continues its crackdown on illegal constructions and encroachments across the city. In a recent action, the Building Permission Department and the Anti-Encroachment Squad jointly demolished the illegal portion of an under-construction building in Laukhedi area. The demolition was carried out following instructions from Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, who had directed the removal of constructions that violate building permission regulations.

 

As part of this action, the team demolished the illegal section of building number 52 in Aditya Avenue, located in the Bairagarh region of Laukhedi. The illegal construction involved the addition of three roofs on the external part of the building, which were removed using JCB machines and laborers. The municipal authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining compliance with building regulations and will continue their efforts to curb unauthorized constructions across the city.
