Five killed in tragic accident

 

 

 

A devastating accident on the Bhanupratappur-Antagarh road claimed five lives, including two young girls, when a speeding Scorpio vehicle collided with two motorcycles near Khadi River on Friday evening. Four victims died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital.

 

The Scorpio, allegedly speeding towards Antagarh, lost control and collided head-on with two motorcycles approaching from the opposite direction, killing the riders and pillions instantly. The impact of hit was so severe that the victims had no chance of survival. Eyewitnesses described a horrifying scene, with mangled vehicles and victims scattered across the road. The deceased have been identified as Kamati Kawde (21) from Chougel, Priyanka Nishad from Sambalpur, and Chokeshwar Prajapati and Sevan Kumar from Champatola, Rajnandgaon.
