Employees BRM felicitated with Shiromani Awards

 

 

 

 

SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant employees of the Bar Rod Mill (BRM) of Mills Zone-1 were awarded the ‘Pali Shiromani’ and ‘Karm Shiromani’ Awards under the ‘Shiromani Puraskar Yojana’ of Bhilai Steel Plant, for displaying commendable performance at the workplace. Yogesh Shastri, GM I/c (BRM) was the Chief Guest during the award Programme held on 28th December 2024. Respective section heads were present on this occasion, along with other Senior Officials and departmental employees. Shruti Menon, Manager (Electrical) and Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Deputy Manager (Mechanical) were awarded Pali Shiromani Award, while Thakur Rishikesh Singh, Junior Engineer (Electrical), Shiv Kumar, Engineering

 

Associate (Operation), Khorbahara Ram, Engineering Associate (Mechanical) were awarded Karma Shiromani Award, for their exemplary performance at the workplace. Mementoes and Certificates were presented to the awardees, along with a Letter of Appreciation and Gift Hamper of Sweets to their respective Spouses. Chief Guest Yogesh Shastri, GM I/c (BRM) in his address emphasized on use of safety equipment during work and getting better results by making optimum use of resources. Samayla Ansari, Deputy Manager (HR-Mills Zone-1) compered the programme and proposed the Vote of Thanks. The main objective of felicitating the employees under the ‘Shiromani Puraskar Yojana’ is to acknowledge their sincere efforts and motivate them to work with the same spirit while maintaining healthy competition. Under this scheme, the employees displaying exemplary work performance in a particular month are awarded with ‘Karm Shiromani Award’ while the ‘Pali Shiromani Award’ is given to those who have performed commendably in a particular quarter of a year.
