A campaign has been started in the district under the campaign ‘Hamara Shauchalaya Hamara Samman’.
In which villagers are being motivated by running continuous campaigns to use their own toilets built in their homes and maintain cleanliness. The Government of India has given the target of conducting a clean and beautiful toilet competition under this campaign.
In which the nomination of 2 cleanest and most beautiful toilets from each village is being sent by the Gram Panchayat to the Janpad Panchayat. For this, online entries of the participating participants and photos of the toilets are being uploaded on website of the Government of India, the last date for which was December 3.
Out of the total nominations received, the nomination of 5 best individual toilets will be sent to the district level through online entry by the Janpad Panchayat.
Out of which a total of 3 best individual toilets will be awarded. Similarly, out of the community toilets constructed in rural areas, 2 best community toilets of each development block will be awarded and the nomination will be sent to the district.
Out of the nominations received at the district level, a total of 3 best community toilets will be awarded in district level closing programme on December 10. Under this campaign, essay, painting, debate, rangoli etc. competitions are being
organised in schools to make children aware.
