After the presentation of the State Budget in the Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed a press conference, commending Finance Minister Choudhary for effectively presenting a Budget that charts a path for Chhattisgarh’s future prosperity. Addressing the media, Chief Minister Sai emphasized that the budget, spanning over five years, is meticulously crafted to propel Chhattisgarh forward without imposing additional tax burdens on its citizens. Highlighting the salient features of the Budget, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated the budget prioritizes four critical sectors. First is poverty alleviation. Revival of the Charan Paduka Yojana and special provisions for Surguja and Bastar regions. Second is youth empowerment, encompassing measures to address the CGPSC scam, CBI probe, and job creation initiatives.
 
The third key feature is the focus on the agricultural sector with substantial allocations for irrigation, MSP (Minimum Support Price), and other agricultural support measures. Women's Empowerment is the fourth important feature, which includes Initiatives such as ‘Modi Ki Guarantee,’ Mahtari Vandan, and provisions for women's welfare, aligning with the vision of ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ and maternal welfare programmes. Another important feature of the Budget is assistance to landless laborers. Landless labourers will be given Rs 10,000 yearly assistance, demonstrating the government's commitment to the welfare of vulnerable sections of society. The budget also has comprehensive provisions for youth development aimed at creating employment opportunities and fostering their growth. Sai expressed his satisfaction with the inclusive nature of the budget, addressing the concerns of all sections of society. He congratulated everyone involved in the budgetary process and emphasized that Chhattisgarh is steadfastly moving towards the vision of a developed India by 2047, as envisioned byPM.
  
In a brief address, Dy CM Vijay Sharma lauded the significant achievement of expanding the budget without imposing additional taxes, emphasising its pivotal role as the cornerstone for future development. He underscored the ambitious vision of targeting a GSDP from Rs 5 lakh crores to 10 lakh crores by 2028, highlighting the magnitude of the government’s aspirations. Dy CM extended his congratulations to both the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister for their exemplary work in formulating and presenting the Budget.
