In a significant breakthrough, Saurabh Tiwari, an accused in a double murder case, apprehended by the Police on Monday. The incident, reported by Jhururam Nishad, detailed a tragic event where his sons Gokul Nishad and Jeetu were fatally stabbed following a confrontation allegedly involving Gokulnandan Sahu, Deepak Sahu and their associates. The incident, driven by longstanding enmity, resulted in the loss of two lives and led to the registration of a criminal case under sections 148, 149, 302, 120B Indian Penal Code and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act at the Pandari police station.

 

Despite efforts to evade law enforcement, Saurabh Tiwari remained a fugitive for over a year, evading capture. However, the relentless pursuit by a joint team comprising the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and the Pandari police station ultimately led to his apprehension. Acting on crucial intelligence, the team, under the leadership of Police Station In-Charge Manoj Nayak, successfully located and arrested Saurabh Tiwari. Saurabh Tiwari, aged 28 and resident of DaldalSeoni, in front of the electricity office in Seoni Mova, Pandari Raipur, has now been taken into custody and remanded to judicial custody pending further legal proceedings.
