Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana (Aapka Achcha Gaon Yojana)’ would be launched to provide 25 kinds of basic facilities to villagers living in Naxal-affected areas of Bastar region where 14 security camps have been set up. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced in the House that ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana (Aapka Achcha Gaon Yojana)’ would be launched for living in villages adjacent to security camps in Bastar region. 25 facilities including road, ration card and others will be provided to villagers. Dash board is being prepared to monitor the scheme. The Government has taken a big initiative for Naxal-affected areas. Sai Government has announced ‘Achcha Gaon Yojana’. This will speed up the development of the surrounding villages where new camps are being started. Regarding this scheme, CM Vishnu Deo Sai said in the Assembly, where new camps are opening in Bastar region, the villages within a radius of 5 kilometres of those areas will get the benefit of this scheme.
Chief Minister Sai said that Niyad Nellanar Yojana will be started. Niyad Nellanar means Aapka Achcha Gaon (your good village) in Hindi. Villages will be developed around the new security camps being set up in Naxal areas of Bastar region. Villages will be developed within a radius of 5 kilometre around 14 such new security camps. Houses will be provided to villagers through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Villages will be connected with roads and they will be given benefits of every scheme of the government. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Government is starting a new scheme. Niyat Nelanar Yojana is being started in the Naxal affected areas of Bastar. Under this scheme, the Government’s plan is to reach the villages falling within a radius of five kilometres around the new security camps that are being started. Like the Primitive Tribes, the Government is trying to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach those villages. Villagers will get the benefit of housing scheme, get the benefits of Ujjwala scheme and get sugar.
The villagers should get facilities like irrigation pump, hand pump, playground, electricity, ATM, forest rights lease, mobile tower and DTH. A provision of Rs 20 crore has been made to ensure that 32 individual schemes reach the people of these villages. The Prime Minister has launched the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana for the development of primitive tribes. A total of five tribes like Korwa and Birhor are included in it. Similarly, Niyad Nelanar scheme is being started. After the Tekulgudam incident, the Home Minister had gone to Silger and met the villagers. Maoists organise protests in those areas which are not accessible by road. Development facilities are not available. There should be distance from the Government. But people want development, said Sai. Congress MLA Kawasi Lakhma welcomed the scheme in the House.
