To vent ire against the video shared by Jitu Patwari, President, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee on X, senior office bearers and members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, on Monday lodged a complaint with the police against Patwari. In the complaint they alleged that the MPCC Chief, without verifying, shared a misleading video on social media showing the beating of Dalit children in Jabalpur and attempted to disrupt the atmosphere in the city. Senior offices bearers of BJYM said Patwari tried to spoil the atmosphere of the State, including Jabalpur. However, the district administration and police found no connection between the viral video and Jabalpur or Madhya Pradesh. Despite this, Patwari shared the video to tarnish the image of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJYM office bearers said they have registered a complaint against Jitu Patwari at Madan Mahal Police Station. If the police do not take action on this, the BJYM will launch a fierce protest. Moreover, whenever Jitu Patwari comes to Jabalpur, he will be opposed and he will not be allowed to enter Jabalpur. Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation into the complaint filed by the BJYM. Senior police officials said the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha has submitted a memorandum, along with a video posted by Jitu Patwari. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.

The cyber team is also involved in the investigation of the video. The complaint raised by the Morcha has been taken into consideration. It may be noted that Collector Deepak Saxena and SP Aditya Pratap Singh have also reportedly said the video has no connection with Jabalpur. The Collection said the video has no link with the district. Likewise the SP also said that the alleged video has been investigated and it is not from the district.
