Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Monday took part in a programme of foundation laying and inauguration of 1,500 road over bridges/underpasses and renovation of 554 railway stations under the Amrut Bharat Station Scheme being undertaken for modern and fast railways at a cost of Rs 41,000 crore by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video-conferencing from Sehore. CM thanked Prime Minister Modi for giving the gift of redevelopment of more than 33 railway stations in the State. He said that constructions worth Rs 77,000 crore is going on in the State, railway facilities are continuously expanding in the State, and we will get world class railway stations and rail facilities with new technology and new systems under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav participated in the Jan Aabhar Yatra of Sehore district. Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav also addressed the national programme through video conferencing.
 
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is developing rapidly under the double engine government. Madhya Pradesh, which is located in the heart of the country has immense potential for development of railway infrastructure. Not only two major railway lines of the country are operational here, but the work of laying the railway line via Sehore to Ramganj Mandi and Budhni is being accelerated also. Railways infrastructure development will be completed fast, which will further speed up development of the state. We are continuously moving towards the goal of a strong and capable state. CM said that along with rise in industry and employment, many schemes are being run for the development of women, youth and weaker sections. There will be no shortage of funds for any scheme. CM approved the proposals presented by Sehore Municipality. He said that the development of Bhopal and Sehore will be done in a co-ordinated manner on the basis of twin city. A plan for overall development of means of transport, residential projects and employment opportunities will be implemented by connecting both the cities. Ujjain-Indore, Ujjain-Dewas, Bhopal-Vidisha, Bhopal-Sehore-Raisen districts will be developed as Twin Cities by 2047. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the country’s name has been established in the world due to its development and progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
 
He said that abolition of Article 370 and freedom from triple talaq for Muslim women are big achievements. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country will see all-round development in the coming years, there will be more achievements in space as well as positive changes in the lives of the poor and women. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav unveiled the stone plaques of redevelopment projects of railway stations of the state. Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation for the redevelopment of 33 stations in Madhya Pradesh as well as laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 133 Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and underpasses. Among the 33 railway stations of the state for the redevelopment of which the foundation was laid are, Sehore, Jabalpur, Bina, Ashoknagar, Khirkiya, Sanchi, Shajapur, Beohari, Bargawan, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Indore, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Maksi, Nagda, Neemuch, Shujalpur. , Khachrod, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Khandwa, Mandla Fort, Nainpur, Seoni, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Bijuri, Morena, Harpalpur, Datia and Bhind. ROBs include two ROBs of Jabalpur Railway Division and four ROBs of Bhopal Railway Division. Under the underpass, work will be done at one place in Jabalpur and two places in Bhopal division. It may be noted that ROB/underpass is built to eliminate manned level crossing gates.
