Railway Sports Club bagged the championship of Asha Gai Memorial Junior Club League Football Tournament, on Friday. The sensation final match was decided in sudden death where Railway routed its strong opponent Elite Club by the margin of 9-8 goals. Earlier, Railway Club and Elite Club teams scored single goals in final time of the game. Thereafter, both the teams scored 5 – 5 goals in the tie-breaker and match was finally decided in sudden death. Chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony was MLA, Patan, Ajay Vishnoi while M K Gai, former General Manager, Gun Carriage Factory Jabalpur, Working President of Madhya Pradesh Football Association, Dr Alok Chansoria and Alok Mishra were special guests.

 

On the other hand, Lions Club routed Rajak Sports in the second semi-final match by single goal in the ongoing Aseem Chansoria Memorial Super Division Club League Football Tournament. Final match of the tournament will be played between Lions Club and Police Boys teams on February 4, 3 pm onwards. Final match of Ramesh Choukse memorial Senior Division football tournament will be played between Narmada Sporting and Yuva Club teams, on February 3, 3 pm onwards.
