Under 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra', a beneficiary welfare programme was organized in Swami Vivekananda Ward and Kamla Nehru ward under North Central Legislative Assembly, on Tuesday. MLA Abhilash Pandey was the chief guest. He provided benefits to the beneficiaries of various government schemes, including the PM Swannidhi Yojana, Sambal Card Yojana, Ration Eligibility Certificate, Pension Scheme, Ayushman Bharat Scheme and other governmental initiatives. Addressing the beneficiaries during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Dr. Pandey said the Yatra is not just the government's but has become the nation's journey.
He highlighted how the government is reaching people at the grassroots level, connecting them with welfare schemes. The primary objective of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. Pandey said that sometimes due to lack of awareness or other reasons, some people miss out on the benefits of government initiatives and reaching out to such people is a responsibility that the government takes seriously.
Looking ahead to the completion of 100 years of India's independence in the year 2047, Pandey stressed the need for collaboration between the government and the citizens to establish India as a developed nation. He said the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to connect and provide maximum benefits to every eligible beneficiary in some way. Therefore, both the Central government and State government are consistently implementing public welfare schemes.
A number of public representatives along with JMC officials including Dinesh Pratap Singh, Divisional Officer, Rishi Kusre, Revenue Inspector, Lakshmikant Thakur and others were present on the occasion.
