The stage is set for MOIL Tigerman Triathlon and Duathlon. India’s longest multi-sport race event which is going to be organised in the city on February 10 and 11. The excitement is palpable as Nagpur gears to hold promising two days of exhilarating competition and festivities in the heart of city. Recognised as India’s longest triathlon and duathlon event, the MOIL Tigerman Triathlon and Duathlon will see more than 300 participants participate in this multi-sport festival. The event will be flagged off by CMD of MOIL Ajit Kumar Saxena and NMC Commissioner Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari (IAS).

 

Children between 11 and 14 years can participate in Super Sprint triathlon and duathlon as solo or relay team. Children in between 14 and 18 years can participate in sprint triathlon and duathlon as solo or relay team. Above 18 years can participate in longer distances of triathlon or duathlon in solo and team relay formats. All participants will get a high quality race t-shirt, finisher medal, and refreshments and race kit. On Feb 10, short distance triathlon and duathlon races will begins from NIT Swimming Pool at 5.30 am.

 

Prizes will be distributed at 12 noon. The triathlon race will be held on Feb 10 and 11 from Ambazari lake beginning 6.30 am. The prizes will be distributed at MOIL Headquarters at 7:30 pm. The Expo will be held on Friday at Ambazari Garden from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The event carries a total prize money of Rs 5 lakh apart from gift vouchers worth Rs 4.5 lakh, informs a press release from Dr Amit Samarth, the main organiser of the event.
