Police investigation into the murder of photographer Vinay, also known as Bablu Poonekar, in Raj Nagar, has unveiled critical details. According to findings from doctors and forensic experts, it appears that the killers employed two pistols to kill Poonekar. Sources indicate that both the post-mortem report and forensic analysis point towards the use of two pistols in Poonekar’s murder. The police assert that the assailant, identified as Hemant Shukla, caght Poonekar’s hair before firing shots, striking him from the back of the neck and later from the front. Initially, the police were unaware of the involvement of two firearms in the crime. Subsequent investigations, however, brought to light that the accused was carrying two weapons during the incident.

Further probing into the matter has revealed a connection between the alleged killer, Hemant Shukla, and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi, a notorious gangster with a dozen criminal cases, including charges of murder and extortion, is said to have ties with Shukla. The police have already arrested Sakshi Grover in connection with Poonekar’s murder. Grover disclosed to the police that she dropped Shukla off at Ajni Railway Station. It is believed that Shukla, while searching for trains to Raipur, managed to evade the police. He potentially fleed to Raipur and later to Uttar Pradesh before crossing the border into Nepal with the help of Bishnoi gang.

The incident occurred last Saturday when Hemant brazenly entered Poonekar’s house in broad daylight and killed Poonekar by shooting him twice. Sakshi Grover, originally from Madhya Pradesh, had lost her husband three years ago and had relocated to her parents’ residence in Nagpur. Shooter Shukla and Sakshi were in relationship and had stolen jewelry Rs 50 lakhs from the house of her in-laws in Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
