“Workers are the strength and source of energy of a party. This will ensure Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in the ensuing Parliamentary elections,” asserted Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing the party workers here on Tuesday. The senior leader of BJP addressed the core committee to chalk out poll management issues. Minister Amit Shah presided over the meeting of BJP election management held at Hotel Grand Jalsa. He took stock of the Lok Sabha constituencies of Akola, Chandrapur, Amravati, Buldhana, Yavatmal and Wardha. A large number party office-bearers and workers were present on the occasion. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP Maharashtra Pradesh President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, BJP Organising Chief Upendra Kothekar were prominently present on the dais. Senior party leader Amit Shah further stated that Congress’ politics of appeasement has changed to social politics in the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government. The PM declared the motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
 
The Union Government makes no discrimination among dalits, adivasis, Muslims or OBCs when it comes to delivering justice. Every social element has been taken care regarding on development. India is on the way to become the third most powerful country in the world. In this situation, it is the duty of every worker to devote to the party to reelect party candidates, stressed Shah. He further added that BJP is contesting the election with a positive approach to make the country a developed nation in the next 25 years. He called upon the workers to elect the party with majority to elect Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third successive time. He asked them to devote wholeheartedly to the task given to them for 40 days. He asked them to reach to common people with the message of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Amit Shah said it is the people’s wish to see Narendra Modi as a Prime Minister for the third time. He asked the party workers to reach to the masses by adopting novel ideas and ways. Speaking on the occasion, Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis pledged to win 45 Lok Sabha seats from Maharashtra. He assured that the party will pocket all the 10 seats in Vidarbha.
 
At the outset, Chandrashekhar Bawankule presented a report of the party’s organisational activities in the State. Dr Sanjay Kute presented a report of Buldhana district while Pradesh Secretary Randhir Sawarkar presented a report of Akola district. Chandrkant Dube, Dr Anil Bonde and Sunil Bat presented reports of Chandrapur, Amravati and Wardha districts. MLA Randhir Sawarkar conducted the meeting while Anup Dhotre proposed a vote of thanks. Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here at around 11.30 am in Akola. He was accompanied by Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
At Shioni airport, he was welcomed by Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Randhir Sawarkar. Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Collector Ajit Kumbhar and DSP Bachchan Singh were present at the airport. After reaching here, he visited Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak in Shioni. Union Minister Amit Shah was warmly welcomed by party workers here at eight places in the city. The spots included Shivar Shioni, Nehru Park Square, Ashok Watika, Luxury Bus Stand, Patrakar Square, Wasim Post and Hotel Grand Jalsa on Balapur road.
