Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav during his visit to Rewa on Tuesday cautioned government officials to work in interest of people and should not harass them in any manner, as State Government would deal strictly with such officers. Addressing a public meeting at Kothi Compound, Dr Mohan Yadav said that thirty years back when he used to visit Rewa either by bus or by train then journey used to very inconvenient but now the situation is different. He targeted Congress for creating obstacles in way of construction of Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. He hailed the development of Mahakal Lok at Ujjain.
 
On the occasion, in presence of Chief Minister Dr Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, many Congress leaders and party workers took membership of BJP. CM Dr Yadav further said that Congress during its governance has always neglected Rewa. The locals are known for their simple and hardworking nature. He said that BJP is committed to develop the area when Lord Ram and Lord Krishna visited. As per the schedule, CM Dr Yadav was to attend the nomination rally of of BJP candidate Janardan Mishra. But due to his programmes at Jabalpur and Shahdol, he addressed public meeting and left from Rewa. Addressing gathering Deputy CM Shukla said that earlier only rich could afford Air Ambulance but in BJP’s tenure even poor can utilise service of Air Ambulance for taking their patients in emergency. Now even poor are availing best treatment facilities. Farmers are being provided irrigation facilities to earn good produce and earn profit.
