The final selection trials of rifles and pistol for Paris Olympics is going to be organised at the State Shooting Academy from Friday. In the trials to be held till May 19, top 35 shooters will participate to ensure their seats in Paris Olympics. The trials will have seven events. They are 10m Air Pistol Men, 10m Air Rifle Men, 10m Air Rifle Women, 25m Rapid Fire Men, 25m Sports Pistol Women, 50m 3 Position Men’s and Women’s Category. Notably, The Indian Rifle Association have selected the State Shooting Academy because of the modern facilities they are providing. There will be round three and four of trials to select shooters for the international event. Two shooters from the State, Aishwarya Pratap Singh and Aashi Chowskey are vying for the Olympic berths. Aishwarya Partap Singh had represented the country in Tokyo Olympics.
