Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the classes X and XII result on Monday. There were around 15,000 students, including 6,000 from class XII and 7,000 from class X, appeared in the exam from Bhopal. The board has said that students can access their result from official website of the board by providing their roll number in class XII Madhya Pradesh that comes under Ajmer Region displayed result as 89.53 per cent and stood at tenth position in country. In class X, Ajmer region scored overall 97.10 per cent and fifth position in country. The CBSE X results for both 2023 and 2024 reveal a persistent gender gap in pass percentages. In both years, girls consistently outperformed boys, with a gap hovering around 2%.
While girls’ passing rates increased slightly from 94.25% in 2023 to 94.75% in 2024, boys’ improvement was also marginal, rising from 92.27% to 92.71%. In comparison to year 2023, this time Ajmer Region has poor performance in both classes X and XII. While in year 2023, Ajmer was on 7th position, this year it is on 10th position. Last year Ajmer region appeared on fourth position among 16 regions in India but this year Ajmer stood on fifth position. Ashmi Rai from Delhi Public School has scored 97.40% marks in class XII. She remained on the first position in Bhopal in Commerce group. In PCB group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Sanvi Rai topped in the city with 96.40 per cent.
Khusi Jain from Indore scored 96% in class X while Disha Sharma from Indore scored 95% marks in class XII. Pawani Agrawal from Itarsi scored 95% marks in Science stream and she belongs to Itarsi. Himanshu from Ratlam Guru Teg Bahadur Academy scored 97.4 per cent marks. Tanay Sharma from Guna scored 94.8% marks in class XII and Santosh Mittal from Pachor (Rajgarh) scored 97% in class XII.
Result on digi-locker
For the first time, CBSE will be uploading the result of all students on digi-locker. To access the e-documents from digi-locker, students are suggested to use their Aadhaar number and mobile number instead of using roll numbers. Apart from this, last year board had introduced facial recognition system due to which student who have no Aadhaar card, can also access their documents.
