A boy was killed over a petty issue near Vijay Nagar police station on Sunday night. The deceased was objecting one of the accused for eve-teasing when two miscreants killed him by hitting his head with iron rod. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Parihar (20), resident of near Agrawal Petrol Pump, Shankar Nagar in Madhotal. Investigating the case, Vijay Nagar police managed to apprehend one of the accused while search is underway to apprehend another one.
 
According to Vijay Nagar police, on Monday morning, a man named Monu Thakur (32), a resident of Shankar Nagar in Madhotal informed that late night on Sunday his younger brother Rahul Parihar sustained critical head injury in an attack. He was admitted at a private hospital for treatment where Rahul succumbed to his grave injury undergoing treatment at the hospital. Receiving the information, police reached the hospital and sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama. In prima facie of the investigation, police learnt that the deceased Rahul Thakur is owner of a shop and was sitting at a shop of another man Sonu Rajak. Meanwhile, worker of Sonu’s shop Praveen was teasing some girls in drunken stupor.
 
Rahul objected him for eve teasing but he overlooked him. Soon after, Praveen again commented on a girl when Rahul slapped him when Sonu Rajak and his worker Praveen attacked Rahul and hammered his head with an iron rod and managed to escape from the spot. On the other hand, relatives of deceased staged demonstration in front of Vijay Nagar police station by placing dead-body on the road and pressed demand for apprehending the accused to make justice with their son. Taking serious note on the situation, senior officers reached the spot and managed to counsel the bereaved family members for making justice with their son. Investigating the case, police have succeeded in apprehending one of the accused Sonu Rajak while a rigorous search is underway to apprehend Praveen.
