According to the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, a person aged 21 to 24 can only consume mild beer, while those above 25 can consume hard liquor, including whisky. Sellers are obligated to verify the buyer’s age before sale. Contrary to this, the pub was found serving liquor to individuals below 18 years of age.
