Shriya’s focus was on clarity of concepts than just getting good marks

Shriya Sambre, a student of Somalwar High School Nikalas Branch, became the city topper of Maharashtra State Board Class X with a magnificent score of 98.6 per cent. She scored 92 in English language, 97 in Marathi language, 100 in Sanskrit, 99 in Mathematics, 99 in Science, and 98 in Social Science. Speaking to the ‘The Hitavada’, Shriya shared, “My only priority was to have clarity of concepts rather focusing only to score good marks because this understanding will help me in future to grasp advanced concepts.”
 
Along with attending coaching classes, she also appeared for school’s test series which aided in understanding how to solve a question and prepare for board exams. She aspires to pursue a career in the field of biotech engineering, as she draws interest from the combination of Biology and Mathematics, and is currently preparing for the JEE Examination. She also mentioned that to keep away distraction caused by social media, she deleted all social applications at the start of her Class X. She also underwent brief training in Kathak dance, swimming, and painting. Her father Mohan Sambre is a Cricket Coach, and her mother Rajashree Sambre is a homemaker.
