Expressing regret over handling of Manipur issue, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said, “Despite the claims of development brought in last 10 years we must take into account that the issue like Manipur remained unresolved. The conflicts among different caste groups in Manipur is leading to violence. The State is awaiting peace as the gun culture is haunting everyone. The issue should be accorded priority.” Dr Bhagwat was speaking during the valedictory function of ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2’ of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Reshimbag on Monday. Guruvarya Shri Ramgiriji Maharaj, Peethadheesh Mahant of Shri Kshetra Godavari Dham, Bet Sarala, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar; Iqbal Singh, Sarvadhikari of the Varg; Deepak Tamshettiwar, Vidarbha Prant Sanghchalak; Rajesh Loya, Mahanagar Sanghchalak shared the dais. “Election process completed, the same Government of NDA came to the power. It did a good work in last 10 years. We have added values to our social, financial, cultural fields and earned name on the global map. But are we approaching the growth in a right manner? While making development, we need to improve our vision. We should take the aspects of our enviroment into account,” said Dr Bhagwat.
Dr Bhagwat without mentioning specific incident expressed serious concern over an accident where a drunk woman driver crushed two youths to death, “We need to take care of our Sanskruti. It is the biggest challenge before everyone as to how to make younger generation inculcate the sanskars.” Dr Bhagwat stated, "Election is a process of building consensus. The structure of Parliament is such that both aspects of any question can be presented. The election process has some restrictions which everyone supposed to follow. No false experiment should be performed. We try to move on consensus but it can’t be achieved 100%. In this election, everyone witnessed fierce competition, splits in parties, people abusing each other, misusing technology, spreading fake news during election campaigns is not acceptable. Using technology unnecessarily RSS was dragged in controversy. This should not happen." Suggesting that mere blaming or depending on Governments will take the society nowhere, Dr Bhagwat pointed out, “Society should become able enough. The society’s role and its participation makes difference. Whenever any country experienced change, it was because of its society. French revolution took place because of the people of that country. People stood united.
“I am impressed by the work of Sangh. Dr Hedgewar founded RSS in 1925 and every Swayamsevak contributing in its growth by sacrificing personal life. The Sanskars are being taught by RSS. We have to take this sanskruti and spread it to the masses. We have rich tradition of Sant because of which we are experiencing good sanskars,” sari Ramgiriji Maharaj. Dalits were hurt in the past but we have now chance to rectify our mistake. Every person should get respect. The efforts of RSS are ultimately helping our nation to grow. Those should continue, added Ramgiriji Maharaj.
Iqbal Singh introduced Ramgiriji Maharaj and Dr Mohan Bhagwat. Rajesh Loya gave a welcome speech and introduced the special guests. It was the first Sangh Shiksha Varg with a new format and curriculum. It previously had a 7-day Prathamik (Primary) Varg, a 20-day Pratham varsh (first year), 20-day Dwitiya varsh (second year) and a 25-day long Tritiya varsh (third year).
