With the change in leadership in the State, the approach of State Government changed. In last six months, Dr Mohan Yadav emerged as problem-solver. He has taken up the decade-old disputes related to textile mills and water treaty agreements with other states on priority basis and came up with solution to a greater extent. In the direction of industrial promotion and resolution of water sharing disputes with other states, Dr Mohan Yadav-led Government has taken many breakthrough steps. In the line of Ujjain Regional Industrial Conclave, the interest of around Rs 12,000 crore investment was expressed and investment proposals totalling Rs 74,711 crore were attracted. State Government will organise such programmes in other belts namely Jabalpur, Gwalior and Rewa.
Notably, earlier Government used to organise global investors meet at prominent places in the State. Most of the meets were organised at commercial capital Indore. This time, Government is focused on region-based development also and making efforts to invite investment in various sectors. Dr Yadav said that deadlocks pertaining to the usage of water and benefits drawn by a state etc. have been solved to a greater extent.
In coming time, on Ken-Betwa river linking project, Kalisindh-Parvati and Gandhi Sagar Dam project, commencement of further implementation will be seen soon. He also reiterated that ongoing scheme of State Government e.g. Ladli Bahna will not be stopped. Air connectivity will be enhanced and air services connecting various religious centres of the State will be speeded-up. State is the first one in the country, where air ambulance was on duty during the all the phases of the elections. Now, this facility will be available for commoners also. This facility can be availed if treating doctors recommend treatment at some other places. Doctor’s recommendation is enough in such cases, CM added.
