RAIPUR,
SKY Alloys and Power Limited
organised a blood donation
and medical camp at their
Raigarh Plant, continuing their
tradition of social responsibility on Friday, June 14.
The medical team set up a
dispensary at the plant, where
they successfully collected 30
units of blood. This initiative
aimed to encourage people to
save lives through blood donation, highlighting the importance of such contributions in
emergency medical situations.
Earlier, on World
Environment Day, June 5, Sky
Alloys and Power Limited conducted a large-scale plantation
drive at their Raigarh Plant and
in nearby villages.
A total of
350 saplings were planted in
the village of Temetema under
Temetema Development
Block, Kharsia, as well as in the
villages of Kanmura and
Sendripali. The primary objective of this drive was to raise
awareness about environmental conservation and to
promote greenery in the region.
These activities were part of
the company’s Corporate
Social Responsibilities (CSR)
efforts. Sky Alloys and Power
Limited has been consistently
engaged in CSR activities,
which reflect their commitment to both social and environmental causes.
The blood
donation camp aimed at lifesaving contributions, while the
plantation drive sought to
enhance environmental
awareness and conservation.
