Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav inaugurated the 3-day ‘School Chalein Hum Abhiyan’ through virtual mode on Tuesday. Dr Yadav put tilak on the foreheads of the newly-enrolled students. At the district-level Praveshotsav programme, the public representatives welcomed the students in a clean and healthy environment. MLA Abhilash Pandey attended Praveshotsav programme at Government Higher Secondary School, Tamarhai. Under SCH Abhiyan and Cleanliness Drive, the MLA along with other public representatives and staff members cleaned the buildings of primary, middle and higher secondary-level before the initiation of new academic session. The locals highly appreciated this effort whereas school Principal Mukesh Shrivastava and other staff members extended their gratitude towards the MLA.
 
During first day of the 3-day Abhiyan, the district-level programme was organised at Pandit Lajja Shankar Jha School of Excellence (Model) on Tuesday. The students attended live telecast of address delivered by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav in the State-level Programme held at Bhopal. MP Ashish Dubey, MLA, Ashok Rohani, Mayor, Jagat Bahadur Singh, District Education Officer, Ghanshyam Soni attended the programme. Parent-Teacher meetings will be organised in the schools to discuss about school-level activities and available facilities during the second day. The guardians will receive the letter of School Education Minister, Uday Pratap Singh during the meeting, whereas the students will receive free textbooks.
 
While the third and concluding day will be marked with the programme ‘Bhavishya se Bhent’ during which public representatives, respected citizens and other inspiring personalities will inspire the students by sharing their experiences. The local administration was preparing for the district-level programme since one week. DEO, Soni and DPC, Yogesh Sharma appealed eminent society members and public representatives to render their support to the needy children.
