New doors to open for students, researchers, investors in semi-conductor, chip-design sector: CM Dr Yadav

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that an MoU being signed by Devi Ahilya University, Indore, for educational and research-oriented activities with Taiwan, the leader in the semi-conductor and chip-design sector in the world, will be beneficial for the students, researchers, and investors of Madhya Pradesh. New doors of progress will open. Devi Ahilya University has signed MoUs with six different universities in Taiwan. The State Government will make every possible effort to strengthen the State’s relations with Taiwan and ensure that there is no difficulty in implementing the MoU at the Government-level. He was addressing the gathering in an international seminar organised by Devi Ahilya University on environmental management for a sustainable future in Indore virtually from Samatva Bhawan, Bhopal.

 

The MoU was signed in Indore between Ai-Shu University Taiwan and Devi Ahilya University, Indore, in the virtual presence of the Chief Minister along with the unveiling of the statues of Swami Vivekananda and Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpayee in the university. We must care about the universe as we care about ourselves: Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that organising an international seminar on environmental management for a sustainable future is very important in the present scenario. Our culture inspires us to live in harmony with the environment, our Vedas teach us to care for the universe just as we care for ourselves. Devi Ahilya University Indore has been a leader in innovation and deserves congratulations for this entrepreneurship. Madhya Pradesh is quite prosperous from an environmental point of view.

 

Along with the Central Government, the State Government is also making efforts at every level to face the world’s environmental challenges. Indian culture has many points for environmental protection and developing environmental sensitivity among people. CM said that to protect the environment, the State Government has pledged to plant 5.5 crore saplings. In this campaign, 51 lakh saplings will be planted in Indore. The campaign conducted last fortnight for the conservation of water sources in the state was important from the point of view of environmental protection and the active participation of the people of the state was commendable. Higher Education Minister Dr Inder Singh Parmar, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani, Vice Chancellor of Devi Ahilya University Dr Renu Jain, President of Ai-Shu University Taiwan Dr Kuang and other officials and subject experts were present.
