Under the chairmanship of PWD Minister Rakesh Singh, Divisional Review Meeting was organised on Saturday. Additional Chief Secretary, Cottage and Gramodyog and Incharge Jabalpur Division, Vinod Kumar presided over the meeting. During the meeting, officers concerned were given necessary instructions about Jal Ganga Samvardhan, Shala Praveshotsav, sowing of Kharif crop, import, NHI activities, Textile and Logistic works in Jabalpur, review of Corridor in Varanasi, Namami Narmade Project, Redensification of Jabalpur Mandi, Jabalpur IT Park, Narsinghpur Industrial Area Chawarpatha, Bagaspur, Barman Kalan, Dindori Industrial Area Barkheda, Mandla Induatrial Area Mohania, Patpara, Madhya Pradesh Eastarn Region Power Distribution Company and other issues. Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), MLAs and their representatives from the division, Divional Commissioner, all Collectors, CEOs Jila Panchayat and Divisional officers were present.
Divisional Commissioner, Abhay Verma explained about district-wise activities carried out under Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan. Simultaneously he informed about the total human days generated during the Abhiyan under which the water bodies were rejuvenated in all the urban and rural areas. While informing about total number of children enrolled in the government and non-government schools under School Chalen Abhiyan, he shared details about Praveshotsav, Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) and ‘Bhavishya se Bhent’ activities to be organised with the objective to develop coordination between the school and society. Joint Director, Agriculture updated about sowing of Kharif crop, import and other arrangement. PWD Minister Rakesh Singh instructed to clear the way for development works, increase the pace of Namami Narmade Project, make efforts to provide job to the locals.
He asked to provide the meeting’s agenda to the public representatives before the meeting and ensure their active4 involvement in the drives which are among the top priorities of the Government. Under the guidance and visionary approach of Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, the State proceeds forward on the path of progress and development.
The area concerned with Shree Anna is increased from 1.10 to 1.6- lakh hectares. Fundamental services including road, water, electricity and education must be smoothly available for common public. MP Rajya Sabha, Sumitra Balmik asked to ensure proper distance to be maintained between Narmada river and residential areas. School campuses must have proper arrangements of buildings, toilets, drinking water and electricity. Dindori MLA, Om Prakash Dhurve emphasised on good quality roads and asked to replace black spots. ACS, Vinod Kumar instructed to solves the issues raised by the public representatives on priority basis.
