Collector Seoni Kshitij Singhal and SP Seoni Rakesh Kumar Singh have been removed from their posts by the State Government after the sensational case in which more than 50 carcasses of cattle were found in different places in Seoni. Now, the State Government has posted Sanskriti Jain as the new Collector of Seoni and Sunil Mehta is new Superintendent of Police. Sanskriti Jain is 2015 Batch IAS officer and her previous posting was Municipal Commissioner, Rewa. The previous posting of Sunil Mehta was SP (Rural) Indore.

 

The case investigation is now being looked after by ADG (CID) Pawan Shrivastava. The outgoing Collector Kshitij Singhal has now been posted as MD at MP Central Area Power Distribution Company. It may be recalled that police has arrested many accused involved in killing of cattles and dumping them in Wainganga river in area under jurisdiction Dhanora police station and in forest area under jurisdiction of Dhuma police station.
