Gobinddas Hospital tops category of District Hospitals under NQAS

Government Seth Gobinddas District Hospital (Victoria) has topped the category of District Hospitals under National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) and received first award to maintain standards and provide healthy atmosphere to ensure wellbeing of the patients. Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Sanjay Mishra, Civil Surgeon, Dr Manish Mishra, Anju Kushwaha, Nursing Officer, District Hospital were present under the leadership of Additional Chief Secretary, Mohammed Suleman were present to receive the award offered during a gracious ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi recently.
 
It may be mentioned that under NQAS, the hospitals which scored highest marks in different categories like District Hospital, Civil Hospital, Community Health Centre, Primary Health Center and Ayushman Arogya Mandir were honored during the ceremony. The members of hospital managements received awards in dignified presence of Pratap Rao Jadhav, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and AYUSH Department, Government of India, Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Apoorva Chandra, Secretary Central Health Department and Aradhana Patnaik, Mission Director NHM, Government of India.
 
The occasion was also marked with the unveiling of the guidelines for virtual assessment of Ayushman Arogya Mandir. Simultaneously, the process of making food safety license at an accelerated pace was also started. The new guidelines of IPSH were also launched. The Jabalpur District Hospital has also received the Kayakalp Award in the past. With implementation of Kayakalp campaign and National Quality Assurance process, the maintenance of the hospital, facilities for patient care and treatment and the behavior of the staff towards the patients have improved. The number of patients coming to hospitals is also increasing every day.
