VIDARBHA Advocate Premier League 2024, a Vidarbha-level T20 franchise based white-ball Cricket Tournament will be held in the month of November. The players auction will be held on Sunday, June 30. The tournament will be organised by the advocates of Nagpur for advocates of Vidarbha. A tournament launching event was held recently. It was inaugurated by President of High Court Bar Association Adv Atul Pande and President of District Bar Association, Adv Roshan Bagade. Total six teams will be allotted to Senior Advocates who will be the owners. They will be given six icon players. Rest of the players will go under the hammer.

 

Matches will be played at DY Patil ground, Mihan. District players will be provided with lodging and boarding facilities. The tournament will commence on October 30 with the final slated to be held on November 5. Matches will be telecast live on Youtube. Winners and runners-up will get cash awards and trophies The launching ceremony was graced by Adv Nandesh Deshpande, Assistant Solicitor General of India, Adv Nitin Telgote, District Government Pleader, Senior Counsels Adv Maqsood Sharief, Adv Shyam Dewani, Adv Prakash Jaiswal, Adv Mehroz Khan Pathan, Adv Amol Jaltare, Secretary HCBA, Adv Manish Randive, Secretary DBA, Adv Ranjan Deshpande, Adv Abhay Jikar - PP, Adv Mustafa Abbasi, Adv Nitin Deshmukh, Adv Mohd Ateeque, Adv Awadhoot Purohit. The program was conducted by Adv Syed Foorqan Rezvi while Adv Mohit Reddy proposed a vote of thanks. The VAPL committee comprising Adv Rajesh Ghadge, Adv Syed Shahid, Adv Praful Dangre, Adv Aquib Haque, Adv Umesh Chaggani and others are working hard for the success of the tournament.
