Under the directives of Collector Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh, Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Abinash Mishra has taken significant steps to enhance public amenities and protect government land. The inspection included removal of illegal encroachments and the development of a vending zone under the Amanaka Rail Over-Bridge (ROB) on GE Road and various beautification projects. Commissioner Abinash Mishra has instructed the relevant authorities to remove illegal encroachments under the Amanaka Rail Over-Bridge and enhance public amenities by promptly developing a vending zone. Commissioner Mishra also conducted an on-site inspection of the narrow road under the Telibandha Expressway.

SDM Nand Kumar Choubey was directed to take immediate actions to widen the road to ensure citizens have access to smooth and well-organised traffic. This prompt action is intended to alleviate traffic congestion and improve the overall traffic flow in the area. In addition to addressing encroachments and road widening, Commissioner Mishra inspected the ongoing beautification works from Science College to Rohinipuram Gol Chowk via GE Road. The inspection focused on the progress of various projects being executed by Raipur Smart City Limited, which include the creation of beautiful artwork, painting, and coloring on government walls and the central road divider.

Mishra emphasised the importance of completing these beautification works promptly to enhance public facilities and convenience. He issued clear instructions to officials to ensure that no banners, posters, or stickers are placed on the beautified government walls, road dividers, and electric poles once the development and beautification works are completed. Strict actions and fines will be imposed on anyone found damaging beautification efforts.
