Sai emphasized that the people of Jharkhand are increasingly disillusioned with Soren and his party, especially in light of allegations that they have enriched themselves at the expense of the public

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has taken a strong stance against former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren over his remarks about tribal leadership. In a post on social media platform X, Chief Minister Sai condemned Soren’s comments, describing them as baseless and insulting to the tribal and backward communities across India. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been providing capable tribal leadership across the country like never before.

He argued that Hemant Soren’s criticism of tribal chief ministers within the BJP is not only unfounded but also a direct insult to the entire tribal and backward society. Sai further condemned the actions of the Soren family, accusing them of defaming the tribal community throughout their lives. Sai emphasised that the people of Jharkhand are increasingly disillusioned with Soren and his party, especially in light of allegations that they have enriched themselves at the expense of the public. He suggested that the upcoming assembly elections will see the people of Jharkhand express their dissatisfaction and teach Soren and his party a lesson for their alleged misconduct.

Sai also referenced the public’s memory of the bribery scandals involving the Soren family, arguing that these past actions were not forgotten. Chief Minister Sai reminded Soren that obtaining bail is not exoneration, and the final verdict on his legal troubles is yet to be decided. He suggested that Soren’s remarks stem from the INDI alliance’s fear of the BJP’s growing popularity among tribals, scheduled castes, other backward classes, women, and youth. Sai asserted that the public will not tolerate any statement that insults the society and will respond appropriately. The controversy began when Hemant Soren, after being released on bail, made statements regarding the tribal chief ministers in BJP, claiming they were merely rubber stamps. These remarks have sparked significant backlash, with many seeing them as derogatory towards tribal leaders promoted by the BJP.
