‘Mor Sapna Mor Vikas Chhattisgarh’ event held

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that vision document is being prepared with everyone’s participation to make Chhattisgarh a developed state. He was addressing a state-level programme ‘Mor Sapna Mor Vikas Chhattisgarh’ at New Circuit House in Raipur city. Chief Minister Sai further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a developed country by the year 2047. “To fulfill the Prime Minister’s dream to make India a developed country, we will make a developed Chhattisgarh,” he added.
Chief Minister Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become the fifth largest economy in the world in the last 10 years. The Prime Minister has called for making India the third largest economy in the world in the next five years.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh will also have an important contribution in achieving this objective. Chhattisgarh is a rich state with abundant natural resources, forest wealth and human resources. The land of the state is fertile and there are hardworking farmers.
Youth, farmers, women and experts of the state shared their views.
“By adding value to the resources here, we can create a developed Chhattisgarh. Everyone’s cooperation will be necessary in this. Chhattisgarh is a young state, we have implemented a new education policy, in which emphasis has been laid on vocational training,” said the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is bringing reforms in every field with everyone’s cooperation. Continuous steps are being taken to bring transparency in government functioning. The State Government’s policy is zero tolerance towards corruption, he added. The Chief Minister said that youth, farmers, women and intellectuals shared important ideas for building a developed Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has set a target to dedicate the vision document and new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh to the general public on the occasion of the State Foundation Day, November 1.
Earlier, in the inaugural session, Finance Minister O P Choudhary stated that all participants emphasised that the ideas of the experts could significantly contribute to the progress of the nation as well as of the state. Minister Choudhary extensively discussed the topics such as export-oriented industries, green energy,
solar energy, ethanol-based technology, and production-linked incentives. Chief Secretary and Vice-Chairman of the State NITI Aayog Amitabh Jain and Secretary of the Planning Department Ankit Anand also addressed the programme. Around 200 participants also participated in the programme.
Padma Shri Ajay Mandavi, Padma Shri Jageshwar Yadav, female farmer Udeshwari, Shubham Dixit, Simran, Ankit Jain, Shatabdi Pandey, Sudha Verma and others also shared their views in the programme.
Advisor to Chief Minister Dhirendra Tiwari, Member of the State NITI Aayog K Subramanyam, Secretary of the State NITI Aayog Anup Shrivastava and Secretary to Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat were also present.
Chhattisgarh NITI Aayog has initiated consultations with all departments and sector experts to prepare the Vision Document related to ‘Amrit Kaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047’. Eight working groups have been formed for this purpose, and continuous meetings are being held for deliberations.
The Commission has also launched a web portal, ‘Mor Sapna-Mor Viksit Chhattisgarh’, available at http://sdgspc.cg.gov.in/viksitcg/#home, inviting public representatives and citizens to share their visions for a developed Chhattisgarh.
