Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday released a book detailing the new national laws being implemented across the country. This compilation provides essential information on three new criminal laws, making them more accessible to the public. This initiative by the Chhattisgarh Police aims to simplify the understanding of these new regulations.
The book will serve as an important reference for police officers and investigators, proving useful in criminal investigations as well. The Chhattisgarh Government has been proactive in ensuring the effective implementation of these new laws from the outset.

Starting Monday, the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam are in effect nationwide. These new laws will replace the outdated British-era statutes, shifting the focus from punishment to justice. The event also saw the presence of Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Manoj Pingua, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Chief Minister's Secretaries Rahul Bhagat and Basav Raju S and other police department officials.
