BAJAJ Auto Ltd under its flagship CSR skilling initiative will
best arting its Bajaj Engineering
Skills Training (BEST) centre
in collaboration with the Bajaj
Institute of Technology (BIT),
Wardha from January 2025.
This was revealed by Sanjay
Bhargava, Chairman and
Trustee, Shiksha Mandal,
Wardha while speaking at a
press conference on Friday.
V Ramesh, Head, Skilling,
Bajaj Auto Ltd, Dr Narendra
Kanhe, Principal, BIT, Wardha
and Praveen Mustiir, Principal
ofGSCollege,Nagpurwerealso
present at the meeting.
Bhargava further said that
the advanced skills training
centre aims at equipping engineering and diploma holders
withcontemporary andevolving manufacturing technology skills. The BEST centre will
offer engineering graduates a
6 month course and 4 month
diploma course with subsidised fees by Bajaj Group.
“Bajaj Auto would be investing
overRs 15 crore and setting up
16laboratoriescovering18,000
sq ft at BIT, Wardha,” he said.
V Ramesh said that the Bajaj
Group will invest Rs 350 crore
tosetup15centresinthecountry. About 480 students would
be able to enroll for the two programmes.The inte rdisciplinary
learning modules cover
advanced topics such as
Mechatronics, MotionControl
and Sensor Technology,
Robotics and Automation,
ArtificialIntelligence,Machine
Learning, Augmented and
VirtualReality,PLC,HMI,MES,
and Industry 4.0.
The curriculum is designed
byseniorengineersandexperts
from Bajaj Auto Ltd.
