Playwell emerge bridge champions

 

 

BRIDGE buffs from Orange City and those from neighbouring districts within Vidarbha had a decent challenge in the environs of Vidarbha Bridge Association last weekend. Playwell, who enjoy the reputation of having emerged champions in many duplicate events in Vidarbha region, succeeded once again with a sizzling victory. In 36 deals contest, played across 6 rounds of 6 boards each, Playwell seized the top spot by scoring 81.80 VP.

 

Playwell consisted of S Chhajjed, Anilkumar Mohota, father and son duo of Raja and Amit Rewatkar and Kumra brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev. Team Friends finished runners-up with 65.70 VP. Their team comprised SK Patni, S Hastak, M Hararwala and A Sarode. In 22 deals MP Pairs event, M Hasabnis and L Madne duo clinched top honours. Kumra brothers walked away with second position.
