THE officers of the Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), who arrested Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorist Faizan from Khandwa on Thursday, made a big revelation during the interrogation. According to the information, the police recovered a pistol along with some pamphlets related to ISIS and Indian Mujahideen from Faizan who was caught from Ward-11 of Khandwa. Faizan had stayed in many parts of the country, including Kolkata and Kashmir. The ATS took Faizan on five-day remand, said Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav. It is being told Faizan was running terrorist activities from the city itself, due to which ATS was constantly keeping an eye on him. Not only this, Faizan who was caught was also following people associated with terrorist ideology through social media. This is the reason why he used to spread things related to inflammatory literature on his social media account. During this, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has also lauded ATS for this success saying our police is vigilant and alert. While talking to the media, CM Yadav said that many evidences related to ISIS have also been found with him.

 

He also used to follow such videos, for which many types of evidence have also been found. This terrorist was a threat to India, he said. At the same time, the CM Yadav said that arms and dangerous literature have also been recovered from him, due to which he could have been a threat to India’s security. Along with this, praising the police, he said that ATS has done a good job and Madhya Pradesh Police has averted a major incident from happening.

 

Notably, Faizan was planningalonewolfattackonthe security forces.We have also come in contact with the security agencies of the GovernmentofIndia.Weare also informing them that through this, information should also be gathered about the big networks of international level,CMsaid. Success in catching a big terrorist:CMYadav said that the MP Police orthe administrationofMadhyaPradesh will not tolerate any kind of incident. This is the reason that we have succeeded in catching a big terrorist and we have also understood all the secrets related to him.At the same time, the CM expressed hope that the police action will break the backbone of their terrorist network. The police is fully capable of fighting any such incident.I wouldlike tocongratulate the police personnel and hope that they will maintain this vigilance. Dr MohanYadav said that when we take action against such people, some call us Hinduterrorists.Theyshould learnalessonfromsuchincidents. It is because of such incidents thatthesecurityof the country is in danger. I hopethatthepolicewillcontinuetotakeactionwithcaution. There are many things inthis incident.Itisnot right to spill allthe beans publicly in view of the sensitivity of the matter, he said.
