Athlete Ankita Dhyani, with her tireless efforts, has made her Olympics cut and is all set to represent the country in the Paris Olympic 2024 in the 5000m race. As per details, Ankita Dhyani, who clinched bronze medal in the Asian Championship, will be a part of the 30-member team that will take off to Paris Olympic. Further, Ankita had bagged the top medal in the national championships held in June. “Representing my country in the Olympics is a great honour. I am committed to giving my best performance at the Games.

 

SAI Bhopal and my coaches have provided immense support, and my family has encouraged me tirelessly despite financial challenges”, said Athlete Ankita Dhyani of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) Bhopal. According to the information, Ankita a was part of SAI NCOE Bhopal from 2019 to February 2024 and then moved to NCOE Bangalore for national camp. Hailing about Ankita’s qualification, coach Pratibha Toppo said “When Ankita started training with me, I knew she would achieve great heights due to her extraordinary qualities.” Further, Coach Pratibha added “as an athlete, she embraces challenges and always gives her best to overcome them with a positive attitude”. Additionally, Ankita Dhyani is the second athlete from National Centre of Excellence (NCOE) Bhopal to qualify for the Paris Olympics 2024. Previously, judoka Tulika Maan had qualified in judo.
