Sir,
The valour of the Indian Army needs no mention, though it often goes unnoticed. Their exceptional bravery during the Wayanad floods deserves every accolade and needs to be hailed.
In times of devastation, such as the ghastly landslides, the Indian Army, NDRF and Kerala Police have been embodiment of sacrifice and selflessness. They have been a compassionate ally to the people of Wayanad through their aid and assistance.
The Wayanad tragedy has scaled unprecedented heights and has brought a lot of pain, anguish and misery to Kerala and to the nation as a whole.
The people of Wayanad, Kerala, have suffered irreparable losses, leaving them shattered, but in these times of despair and agony the relentless efforts of the Indian Army have shown that testing and difficult times can be conquered through courage and cooperation. Unity is best seen during these difficult times. There were many people who came forward during Wayanad tragedy and helped others. They even didn’t fear about their lives and did highly commendable job. This selflessness among humans is a must to save humanity.
The bravery and resilience demonstrated by both the Army and the people of Kerala perfectly echo Ernest Hemingway’s words:
“A man can be destroyed but not defeated.”
