He is the reason we celebrate life,
Countless blessings He bestows, easing strife.
As we tread His path, with smiles we glide,
He- a torchbearer in every stride.
The festival fervour bursts alive,
Welcoming Krishna’s birth as the day arrives.
The Divine Teacher, the Lover, the Friend,
An epitome of perfection, also kind.
Source of endless love, radiant and bright,
How can one be so perfect? Heart takes flight!
You see Him as you wish Him to be,
A child, a son, a teacher, a lover, a Yogi.
He manifests in the faith that you show;
In every form, with devotion, His love glows.
The puissant Creator, a treasure so vast,
The Omnipresent, He- the first and the last.
The grace-giver must be celebrated,
Not just today, but always, in plentitude
For light’s manifestation and Gita sermon,
Jagadguru, he is called for a good reason.
For Him, all beings are the same,
No less, no more - none his blames.
In Nature’s harmony, joy is regaled,
In all the Universe, His presence hailed.
Nectar for man, His wisdom shines bright,
In every heart He dwells, manifesting light.
Ecstatic, today every being twirls in delight,
The sky reverberates, Earth dances bright,
May the divine aura forever with us be,
Haathi ghoda palki, Jai Kanhaiyya laal ki!
