Shramoday Residential School celebrates Janmashtami

Students and staff of Government Shramoday Residential School, Jabalpur celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The celebration was organised with the instructions issued by the State Government with the co-ordination of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan (Nyas), Mahakaushal Prant. Prantiya Sanyojak, Nyas, and Professor Dr Rajendra Kurariya from Government Science College, Prantiya Sah Sanyojak and Principal, Hitkarini Women College, Dr Neelesh Pandey were present along with School Principal Abdul Sahir Sheikh and other teachers. Students attired as Shri Krishna and Bal Gopals, mesmerised the gathering with their cute and adorable activities while presenting Krishna Leela. The students from junior section presented a short skit on the childhood activities of Shri Krishna, melodious bhajans and plays to display the victory of good over evil, importance of values, love and compassion. Under the guidance of Art Teacher Vikram Yadav, the students of Fine Art presented attractive ‘Nand Bhavan’ tableau.
 
A Matki Phod competition was also organised for the senior students. It may be mentioned that 10 students from Shramoday School have been selected to represent Jabalpur district in the State Yoga Olympiad. All these students will display their brilliant Yoga performance in the State-level competition after proving their mettle at the District-level competition. Clustre Principal, Manjula Sharma was especially present on this occasion. Principal, Abdul Sahir Sheikh and senior teacher, Bhupendra Salame extended their gratitude towards the guests, participants and others for their support and contribution.
